JYJ’s Jun Su recently talked about his ideal type.
On September 5 at 2:00 p.m., Jun Su gave an interview to Korean reporters at Camino Real Hotel in Mexico City before holding a concert in Mexico.
After releasing his first solo album, Tarantallegra, in May, Jun Su had concerts in Seoul, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, New York, and LA, meeting over 40,000 fans. On September 6 at 8:00 p.m., Jun Su will hold a concert at the Auditorio BlackBerry in Mexico City. He’s the first Korean solo singer who holds a concert in Mexico city.
Jun Su also talked about his ideal type.
Jun Su said, “I want to have a girlfriend. I don’t have a specific ideal type, but I like a girl who is polite and feminine. I’ve dated a few times, but I don’t have a girlfriend now. I think I will be kicked out even if I have a girlfriend now, though,” insinuating that he’s currently having busy days.
Regarding the fact that he’s the first Korean solo singer holding a concert in Mexico, Jun Su said, “This is my first visit to Mexico, and I’m very happy to be able to hold a concert here. More than 3,000 fans will come to my concert in spite of the fact that this is my first concert in Mexico. I’m so thrilled.”
Jun Su also said, “When I got this opportunity to hold a concert in Mexico, I thought K-pop had really spread all over the world. I’ll try my utmost to create the best concert for my fans in Mexico.”
Jun Su will also hold concerts in Brazil, Chile, and some European countries.
K-Pop's First Artist to Perform in Mexico, JYJ Junsu, "I Gave up My Drama Casting Role for This Album"
Junsu stated, "There is about 500,000 miles that I didn't use earlier this year for my mileage, but it does not matter. Wherever my fans are, I will go to see them."
JYJ member Junsu is the first K-Pop artist to perform in Mexico. Junsu commented, "I worked really hard not to make anything boring or normal."
Yesterday, Junsu held a press conference in Mexico. Junsu commented, "Although this was my first concert in Mexico, I was shocked to see that all 3,000 seats were sold out. Since I am the first K-Pop musician to perform here, I promise not to let anyone down."
There had been many problems before being able to release a solo album and hold a world tour. Junsu commented, "In reality, it is hard to show someone's face on TV unless it's acting and so I rejected the idea to make a new album at first. I was also casted for a mini drama series, but if both my acting and singing career are on the line, I knew that I would have to choose what I am best at. That is why I gave up my acting role and decided to go on with making this album."
Junsu's new album was a major success with over 120,000 albums sold. His Asia tour brought in 40,000 fans as well.
Junsu believed that his success was due to the internet. He commented, "The days where songs would only become popular through TV broadcasts are gone. Now, it become popular through music videos online. The internet allows anyone to advertise their content online."
Junsu also commented, "Doing musicals helped me change into a more positive person. Certain things I've learned from musicals helped me to make this new album as well. If I had not done musicals, I would not have made this great album. Musicals helped me to express myself freely as an artist."
Junsu was very thankful that he was able to portray his own style and image through this album.
After his concert in Mexico, he will continue on to Brazil and Chile.

Reporter : I
know you are coming here solo without your other members this time. Are you nervous about it?
Junsu : In
compared with having 3 of us, I feel a bit lonely in some way. But this is the last stop of my Asia's tour,
I am getting more used to it now. I can
now perform my concert with skill and ease, and spend some enjoyable moment
with everyone. I feel excited and happy
about it.
Narrator : Though
Junsu has not performed in any TV series, he puts a lot of effort in his
MV. Not only showing his muscles, he
also takes the challenges in having female appearance
Reporter : In
your solo album, apart from showing your figure, you also have a female
appearance. Jaejoong also had a female
appearance before, from your view, who do you think is prettier?
Junsu : It's
hard to compare who is prettier. Though you are viewing real girls, they have
different styles. I think we have
different styles ad bring out different female images. But if you say pretty, I will say it's
Jaejoong.
Repoter : Sometimes

Among the three of you, who do you think is the funniest person?
Junsu : If
you say funny, I think three of us are also funny. I personally think the other two are funnier
than me. Jaejoon is fun in action and
Yuchun likes to make funny jokes. When I
am with the two, I feel very happy and laugh a lot. When I am together with other members, I feel
my funny side is even more obvious.
Therefore when the three of us are together, we always have non-stop
laughing.
Narrator : In
fact JYJ has their serious side, e.g. Jaejoong composed new songs for Junsu and
Junsu is very satisfied.
Junsu : Now
when I received songs from other members which are not sung by the three, but
my solo instead, the feeling is very different.
Therefore when I received songs from other members, I will digest them
and put them in my album. I feel very
happy about it. I am so happy that
Jaejoon can write new songs for me as we have a deep understanding among us,
therefore, we can write suitable songs for each other. Really thank you to Jaejoong that I can
receive such good songs from him.
Narrator : Apart
from receiving support from other members, Junsu's brother Junho also helped to
write song for Junsu.
Reporter : I
know your brother Junho also helped you to write song, do you have special
feeling about it?
Junsu: First
of all, "Tarantallegra" is the first song I compose. When I was writing lyrics for the song, I
remembered my brother wrote a sogn called "Mission". I had some feeling towards this it,
especially dance song. I seek his
assistance to add in some new ideas.
Therefore, I invited him to write new lyrics. One day he asked me what was the meaning of
the word "Tarantallegra". The
meaning of this word is an incantation for people to dance, he asked me what I
thought if he put this word in the lyrics.
I felt good about it. My brother
was so dedicated to put in many different new styles and wrote some suitable
lycris for me. Therefore, I am also very grateful to my real brother. In future, I will get him write more.
Narrator : Apart
from sing, Junsu also has a good result in musical. Not sure if he will consider to follow the
other two members and film TV series.
Junsu : I
think it must have a day I will show up in TV drama. But when is that time, I am not sure in
fact. I really have no idea in this
part. When the time I film TV series, I
must be well-prepared or come across a suitable script. No matter when, you will have chance to see
me in TV drama one day.
Reporter : Is
there anything you want to tell Hong Kong fans?
Junsu : Hong
Kong fans …. They never mind me I don’t come too often. Whenever I come, they always welcome me. They give me lots of love. I am very grateful and thankful. At any time, I love you folks. Ngor Hoi Da Ga (I love you all in Cantonese). I love you guys.

JYJ Junu's first world tour concert concluded successfully in New York.
Junsu performed passionately for about 2 hours on August 30 at Manhattan Center's The Hammerstein Ballroom.
In the beginning Junsu greeted the fans stating, "I'm happy to see you all in New York," in total performed a set of 19 songs.
Junsu was very intimate and personal. He had conversations with fans well.During a concert he led the trademark 'genie time' allowing the audience 3 wishes which was performing a song, act cute and show off his sexy pose entertaining the fans.
Junsu connected with New York fans as one through his first live performance ever of the English single "Uncommitted."
Junsu will continue his world tour to Los Angeles on September 2 and Mexico on September 6.
JYJ's Park Yoochun complimented actress Han Ji Min, who he acted with on SBS drama"'Rooftop Prince," for her 'affinity.' 朴有天讚賞韓志旼的性格親切
On KBS 2TV "Entertainment Relay" that aired on Saturday, on the corner called 'Star On Air,' she was interviewed, on the set she filmed for advertising.
The reporter said that he gathered what her fellow acting partners thought about Han Ji Min, who has been acting for 10 years. When asked, "What do you think Park Yoochun said?" She replied, "That I eat a lot? Or that I seem like a town noona that he knew for 10 years?"
The reporter replied, "Park Yoochun said that you were 'the greatest of all time' and that you have the 'best affinity.' He said he knew you for 4 months, but that it seems like you guys have been friends for 10 years.'
